Dr Berera completed her Bachelor of Dental Science from Melbourne University in 2001. She began her employment in a large private practice where she was mentored and gained experience from many accomplished dentists. Since moving to Sydney 15 years ago, Dr Berera has worked with some of the premier dentists, continuing to learn and gain as much experience as possible. Dr Berera takes pride in her work and enjoys providing her patients with an exemplary level of care.

Dedicated to constantly improving her skills, Dr Berera has taken post-graduate courses in orthodontics as well as staying up to date with the latest innovative advancements in techniques and materials in Dentistry. She continued her education by attending further courses in Invisalign, to become a Certified Invisalign Provider in 2008.

To add to her repertoire, Dr Berera studied further with some of the best dentists who design and prepare porcelain veneers. She is Digital Smile Design member, which means she can offer a unique result and experience for her patients that gives a perfect smile in harmony with their facial aesthetics. With a variety of treatment options available and 20 years of experience as a dentist, Dr Berera is here to help you achieve that perfect smile.

In her spare time, Dr Berera loves spending time with her 2 children and family friends. Her crazy hobby is racing in triathlons – you can often hear her talking about her daily training sessions when she is at work!
